If in Life

What if I fell in love

I might feel light as a dove

What in I were to die tomorrow?

I could see if anyone would care

What if hate were a swirling abyss?

I would be at the center

What if the world would end?

When I lie to people

My brain kicks into high gear

My heart leaps with fear

I wish I could stop my lying

For it's starting to dirty up my conscience

If I could be here always

I'd never truly die

I'd live on through my words forever

And I'd never leave this world

I would be here immortally
