If It's Meant To Be It Will Be

As you were the light that rose upon my life the day you sung your beautiful melody to me,

I never wanted you to leave; but if your happiness depended on it then that's all I ever wanted was for you to be happy,

As I say if it's meant to be it will be,

You're the foreign melody of love that soothes through the cracks of my broken heart,

As society forbids us of being together maybe we'll have our chance someday,

As I wish it was easy to forget you,

It really isn't,

As I look around my room I see all the things you gave me, and looking at them follows behind your voice,

You're my ambition, you're my hope, you're my melody through the dark,

You're my lost foreign love that aches in my heart every now and then,

But I wouldn't change our story for nothing,

Because the love you left and still give every now and then is what keeps me going,

If it's meant to be it will be
