If I was stranded what would I take? There are so many ideas I feel like I may break

I can always get hooked on a good book, but food puts me in a good mood

My dog would be nice but, what about my good friend Bryce?

I would love a doughnut, to eat as I sit in a hut

If I were alone how long would I last? I would probably end up in a cast

 But after all these ideas there is really only one thing left to pick

Athough some ice cream would be nice to lick

Music means a lot to me, now don't you see?

When I listen to music I am free, I can be who I want to be

I don't need food or friends or my dog, not to seem like a hog

I can't live without music because, music is life, withouut music what am I?
