If I May...

If I May…

You’re the friend that I care for,
And support every step of the way.

But what about you?
You’re… if I may…

You’re a pleasure to my heart,
But a sorrow to my soul…

You just flew away
Like an ugly, bad luck crow.

If you were only here to see me change,
The hurt I felt in every vein.

But now you have come,
And I’m in one piece…

You won’t see me suffer or cry in grief.

Now, I know who you really are,
So, if I may…

I just might tell you, some day…
