If I Had A Heart

I’d laugh

Care

Understand

Feel empathetic

Love

But all of this and more I’d still have if you hadn’t ripped my heart out and kept it for yourself

Why must we humans break what we love most?

Do what we know is wrong?

Hurt others for entertainment?

Maybe because we’ve lost our morals

Or our hearts had been ripped out long ago, and we strive to make others suffer for our own misfortune

Or maybe it’s because we ourselves cannot truly feel love

Comfort

Empathy

Happiness
