If Everyone Could Hear Me or "Anger, Finally" Revised

If everyone could hear me

and God knows I wish they could

you wouldn’t be all smiles in the halls

then again, maybe you would.

Because of you

and your grins as white as stars

your Narcissus finally blooming

I have to write to hide the scars

I write to hide from lies

I write to scream the truth

I write for you because

you got away with my youth.

I could grab the Mike

Shake it and scream raw

Your transgressions finally exposed

Through my open "whorish" maw

Just because you hurt me

Doesn't mean I won't come up fighting

Just because you thought you'd go free

Doesn't mean you'll escape the guilt-ridden biting

I might not scream

and I might not yell

but i’ll whisper our abusive secrets

and I’ll watch you go to hell

Because if everyone could hear me

You’d no longer be a saint,

if everyone could hear me

I could finally be free of restraint.
