i find myself half asleep

having a peace of mind
laying against a young birch tree
feeling the breeze
i don't have allergies, therefore, didn't sneeze
cool green grass tickling my feet
my eyes closed to take in more of the blissful breeze
and the touch of the sun's rays
beaming on me feeling like a tan in a beach
then i heard it
a faint breath
i heard her smile before her voice
i felt her presence gliding in the air
so gracefully and divinely
i smelled the flowers she would've
picked that afternoon
my eyes awakes
see her walk in the horizon
as if it was straight to the sun
and as i smiled, it became dark
so i ask myself, what now?
how am i feeling?
your memory faded
there was pain that reminds me of you
