I will not bend for you anymore

I know now that I am not good enough for you.

You want always happy and always confident, but I am

rarely happy, and really confident.

I found that bending to be what you want only broke me, so I'm done bending for you.

I may not be good enough for you, but I am good enough for the other people in my life,

and maybe that's all that matters.

Maybe what you want doesn't matter, because if who I am right now is not what you want,

you should go look for another girl who matches your standards of perfection.

Maybe I'm fine with being rarely happy and rarely confident, for now.

I've found that coming to terms with my flaws makes my life better.
