I want to go home

Fri, 05/20/2022 - 10:40 -- Mjmk

I want to go home

As I watch the flashing lights

I want to go home

As they start to take him away

I want to go home

While I'm sitting in the tri=uck

I want to go home

While she puts ice on my bruise

I want to go home

As he sneers in my face

I want to go home

As I start to cry

I want to go home

As they push him from me

I want to go home

As he gets in the car

I want to go home

As they drive away

I want to go home

Away from this place

In my nice house

Asleep in my bed

With my pillows and blankets

Wrapped around my body

Instead of him

With my laying beside me

Purring contently

So soft,

So loud

I want to go home

So I close my eyes and imagine I am

The crisp white door

The clean blue walls

I want to go home

But I can't

I have to stay for questioing

But I don't want to

I don't want to tell the story again

But I do anyway

I want to go home

"Well what were you wearing?"

Sweatpants and a shirt

"Were you flirting?"

I was watching tv

"Did you give him consent?"

I screamed no

"What exactly did he do?"

He touched me

He hurt me

He kissed me

But I told him no

"Are you two friends?"

I've known him since I was three

I want to go home

But they won't let me

I want to go home

But they won't allow me to leave

I want to go home

They don't need me here

I want to go home

Let me go home

I'm not doing any good

So just let me go home

Let me go home

I want to go home
