i told people you'd still be in my wedding
and you told me you wouldn't leave
and that you would never say anything bad
and we would stay friends
but the day you decided
that you were too important for me
and that you were going to be too successful
for me
and then you told me
all the things i think about myself
that was the day i left for good
this may all just be a hoax
and you're hiding your true feelings
like you always do
but i'm not waiting anymore
this isn't my game to play
and i'm done making myself miserable
just for the good
of
someone
else
and that you would never say anything bad
and we would stay friends
but the day you decided
that you were too important for me
and that you were going to be too successful
for me
and then you told me
all the things i think about myself
that was the day i left for good
this may all just be a hoax
and you're hiding your true feelings
like you always do
but i'm not waiting anymore
this isn't my game to play
and i'm done making myself miserable
just for the good
of
someone
else
