I Thought We'd Grow Old Together

I loved you with all I had,

And you made my life worth living,

I was sure that we would last,

But obviously I was wrong.

I loved you with all I had,

But I wasn’t enough.

I couldn’t stop the storm

It threw you far away

And left me here alone.

I sit and wonder,

Everyday,

Will I ever love again?

Can I ever love again?

I think I can, but then again,

I thought we’d grow old together too.
