I Think

I Think

I think I’m falling in-love with you, slowly but surely.

I find myself lying still with visions of your smile lighting up the night,

I curl up in as I will myself to sleep.

I think I’m falling in-love with you, slowly but surely.

I find myself stuttering with blushing cheeks as I choke on your name,

A name so simple, yet now quite difficult to say.

I think I’m falling in-love with you, slowly but surely.

I find myself foolishly grinning once your message flashes on my phone,

A message short and sweet that makes my heart glow.

I think I’m falling in-love with you, slowly but surely.

I find myself wondering if you’re feeling this same way,

Do I make up the cracks in your heart and the thoughts in your head,

Or am I just another girl whose presence may as well be dead?

I think I’m falling in-love with you, slowly but surely.

I only say, “I think,”

Because the thought of giving my heart completely to you,

Makes me afraid.

Of the things I could lose, the things you could do.

That’s why I won’t say, I’m truly in-love with you.

Thanks so much! I'll keep that in mind and try and work on my structure - I'm pretty bad at that. Thanks again for reading!
