when open mic concluded

i got nothing but love

like an angel that touch everyone's hearts

one of the greatest poets in my lifetime

approach me

and resonated something that was more

powerful than the man of steel

she said 

there are poets that naturally got it

and there are poets who don't

you got it

to hear it from her 

sent a chill up and down my spine that was electifying 

like the people's champ

i was humbled

it meant so much to me

i thank you marisposa

even more incredible

a little girl approach me

and said 

i like your poems

i asked her does she write

she replied yes

i encouraged her 

by telling her to write

and not be afraid to express yourself

no one has the judge

she stepped back 

digesting what i just said

and smiled

like an angel

i touched her heart
