I Smile

I smile because I never go hungry.

I smile becuase I have a family that loves me.

Walking around with nothing to fear,

I ignored all the warning signs whispered in my ear.

The sound of a flat line rips the smile violently off my face.

My fathers heart has finally stopped its race.

Death has stolen my smile.
