I Made It

It started with one goal.

A dream to make her parents smile.

This dream was a huge toll.

She knew it would take a while.

They said she couldn't make it.

They said it couldn't be done.

Her dream, nothing could break it.

She didn't stop, until she won.

Through her ups and downs,

She rose above all.

Through the smiles and frowns,

She always stood tall.

It took four long years,

With patience and will.

Faced with tears,

A dream, ready to fulfill.

Facing the crowd,

Dressed in green and white.

Her parents so proud,

On June 20th...

     Graduation Night.
