I Love Thee Acrostic

In the still of the night I cannot see,

Low as the moon appears to be sinking

Over the tall pine trees and the mountains clear.

Vacantly my poor mind avoids thinking,

Except for the phrase "I wish you were here".

Tales are being told by silent land,

Here in the moment I simply can't be.

Energy of mine being for one man,

Eagerly telling me that I love thee.
