I Live because I Write

Location

There are too many thoughts in my head. There is too much to ponder over.

I want to remember how I'm feeling today tomorrow. I want to remember the sadness and pain I felt when I was young, or the overwhelming joy that came over me when my crush told me he liked me.

I want to feel the adrenaline and courage I felt when I ran up on the roof with my friends, playing tag in the dark night.

I write because I love my memories. I love remembering what made me who I am today.

I write because my past is a part of my identity--my identity is everything to me.

I write because I love remembering. I'm hooked on re-feeling. Whether it's love, pain, fear, joy, hope or confusion, I want to feel that moment again.

Writing stirs emotion in me. Writing helps me LIVE instead of merely existing.

I write because I want to remember what I did, who I was, what I felt and who I wanted to become.

I write because I want others to remember that I LIVED.
