I Know A Place

Some say there's a place, over the hills and far away

Where the privileged listen to whar mere mortals have to say

They never shake their heads and send 'em on their way

I know a place that's far away

Where no mind is paid to with whom you choose to lay

For a heart may be blind but a heart knows for who it pines

No need to toe that thin bigotry line

I know a place so far away

Where you can pray on your knees to which divinity you please

For what are Jihadists and Crusaders if not misguided invaders?

I know a place but it's so far away

Where WMD'S hold no malevolent sway

And all feuds are solved with words and the thought of conflict adsurd

But will you dare resist the current or be the one to lead the tide?

For it seems our hour glass is runnin' out of time

The same questions remain but the answers ain't so clear

And we can't afford to be weighed down by old familar fears
