I Have a Nightmare

I have a nightmare.
Twoscore and ten years ago, Mr. King helped revolutionize our country.
Equality for all, he said.
No black, no white, no yellow, no red.
Equality. Shades of gray given what they deserve.
A chance.
I have a nightmare.
Mr. King's dream plastered on deceitful faces.
No longer must the different hide, no longer must the different separate.
The rainbow is set free.
But those who wave their rainbow flags, look down upon do we?
Sexuality, natural impulse, has become a shame.
I have a nightmare.
The different ones are left to starve.
The frailty of their egos, crackling under the heat of the ever oppressive sun.
The hypocrites engorge the fear, they feed off hate while cries they hear.
Equality for all, he said.
No black, no white, no yellow, no red.
