I have this friend,

She's super nice but she is really racist.

I have this friend,

He's so good-looking but he just a little sharper than the floor I'm standing on (if you know what I mean)

I have this friend,

She's so funny and smart but she lets guys take advantage of her

I have this friend,

His family is rich but he prefers wearing jeans and converse,

These are a couple of my friends,

I have many friends and many people that I interact with

All of my friends prove that we are all unique people and are at time contradictions,

We all have positives and negatives, sometimes one or the other has the upper hand but there is a balance.

The trick is to make sure that the balance of your good and bad makes you feel like you are a good person.

And that is what is important.

We all have an abundance of positives and negatives.

Jim Carrey can make anyone laugh but finds himself in doubt and depression.

Edgar Allan Poe wrote dark poetry but has a space in his heart for the love of his life,

And many others to follow.

These two sides of us are called our duality,

The dark and the light inside of us all,

If you can prove your duality and accept it,

You will be a better person in the long run

You see, we all have flaws but accepting these flaws

Prove how powerful you can be.
