I grew up in America

Location

I grew up in America.

I grew up in England.

I grew up in a Massachusettes hospital.

I fell in love with

Romance

At a young age.

Didn't see it much

Growing up,

But the idea seemed great

All the same.

I was was troubled from the start,

Afraid to try,

Not afraid to die

At my very own hand.

Diagnosed with a  'disease'

Pretty sure the disease

Was nothing more than me.

We met through the cover of

Pixels,

I fell in love in a matter of hours.

We made it work,

Despite being challenged

On a daily basis.

I thought I was a kid,

She showed me myself,

Taught me that I was a woman.

I saw the world with her,

As she became my world

"I'm gonna marry her."

I grew up in America.

I grew up in England.

I grew up in a Massachusettes hospital.
