I Find It.

Darkness surrounds

I, who has clinical depression.

Finding happiness in a cloud of smoke

Is a

Daily Struggle

But I do.

I find my happiness on the back

Of my galloping horse.

Flying through the air.

Thundering hooves, whispering air.

Graceful. Free.

In the smell that surrounds my home

Thanksgiving Morning.

When family is near

Gentle laughter and banter can be heard.

I find it in those long car rides

Full of music, full of thought

My place to think and go places in life

I Find it in my favorite movie

When he who is misunderstood

Finds peace.

It gives me peace.

To be able to find

Happiness

Even in the darkest

Of my depression.

And in that Happiness, I am given.

Hope.
