i feel at home

i feel at home

when the wind hugs me gently

and the sea kisses my toes

i feel at home

when the trees serenade me

and the grass whipsers sweet nothings

i feel at home

when the sky flows endlessly

and the stars twinkle brightly

i feel at home

when the birds sing happy tunes

and the crickets call out goodnight

i feel at home

when the storm rages angrily

and the seas attack the shore

i feel at home

when the hurricanes roar wildly

and the winds tear our buildings apart

i feel at home

when the orphaned fawn cries out

and the lonely dove perches on a bare tree

i feel at home

when the night wolves cry for food

and in the drought when the drowning fish beg for water

i feel at home

when the earth falls into chaos

and mother nature seems confused

i feel at home

when the morning sun rises

and the evening sun sets

i feel at home

when the night sky kisses the moon

and the stars beg for attention

i feel at home

when i am with you in this world

and when you hold me as the sky holds the earth
