I Don't Wanna Grow Up

Location

I was settled in bed that night

Had just turned out the light

When I started thinking how good life seemed

Before I became a teen

Then I worried about

Moving out

And paying taxes and buying a house

All the stuff I know nothing about.

Why couldn't I stay a kid

And only dream of how good life is.

People should be more like

The animals we seem to spite.

They don't know what money is

Most of them take care of their kids

They only time they have to worry

Is when danger comes in a hurry.

I DON'T WANT TO GROW UP!
