I Cry

Look at my brows a thin neat arch discombobulated from the stress my mind now holds

Look at my eyes a red sea overflowing with salt water as it pierces the canvas of my cheeks

A smooth pattern flushed with red from the tension in my muscles and it affects my lips

A beautiful curve shuttering uncontrollably from the emotions I can’t council

Look at my nose releasing a liquid dripping with the pain I’ve held too long inside my heart

Beating in the wrong patterns from the many cracks that hasn’t been filled and my knees buckle

Too weak to withstand gravity because the burden is way too heavy

Yes I cry something you all think I can’t do because in your eyes I am not

the she I can see.
