I Believe in Education

I believe in the education system that tells our youth how to do IT safely rather than not at all.

IT. Yes. IT. IT as in sex.

Sex as in sensual, sexual intercourse that is the sole reason most of us are alive today.

Yet, American sex education would rather tell students how to not have sex rather than how to have sex safely.

The last time I checked the only way that sex is utterly unsafe is if it’s unprotected.

Don’t you believe that America is the educational country that helps our students grow?

Because I do Not.

We live in an America where 37 states can allow medically inaccurate sex education.

Oh yes, we live in THE  America where only 18 states are required to teach about contraception.

37 states require that abstinence is included in sex education

While 25 states require that abstinence is to be stressed over safe sex

And only 22 states require that sex education is to be taught at all.

All of this bulshit is a bitter betrayal of our generation.

Even though our noble nation won’t give youth the proper information we need, we’re gonna get it some how.

We’ll have to fend for our own education in this wayward world

Because the education that I believe in does not exist.
