I Am Who I Am

Mon, 10/12/2015 - 16:24 -- Angel18

I am a million things, nothing will define me

I may be quiet but that doesn't mean I'm shy,

All these stereotypes that people want to label me as;

nerd, shy, weird, teachers pet, and possibly insane.

Make me feel as if my brain will implode with all these insane lies,

sure I wear glasses and I have a passion for learning but that doesn't make me a nerd.

You think everyone needs a label well guess what I don't.

Don't go around criticising me because you don't know me, or my story.

If you did you wouldn't be telling the lies that you are.

I'm not sorry for being who I am, I am a smart girl who plans to change the world someday.

I can't be held back from something I want, I am a fire cracker in a swarm of birthday candels.

I am who I am and if you don't like it than you don't have to pay attention to me.
