I Am Me. 

Not one word defines me, 

not one simplicity of the words man has made defines who I am.

I am a Hispanic American citizen.

But I am but more than just this Mexican face living in a forgotten, rural and isolated community.

I am kind, loving, adventurous, helpful, strong; but most of all, 

I Am Me.

I am unique and one of a kind.

I have my flaws and many mistakes,

but that's what makes me, Me.

We are all but one in this world,

yet, we are all different. 

Everyone, just as I am, is special in their own way.

We have differences, but that's what makes us special.

Thats what makes us, Us.

Thats what makes me, Me.

I will be more than just a Hispanic face.

I will be more than a field worker or one of the forgotten ones.

I will make something of myself, my family, and my community.

How will I do this?

By being Me.
