I Am That Person

I am whatever can be imagined.
I am the boogeyman in your closet
Waiting to pull a prank,
Or that mysterious little fairy
Collecting and willing to give you money.
I am the sand man
Singing you to sleep
And possibly the sheep
You count in your dreams.
I am the jolly little person
Who always gives you gifts,
Even the star that you wish upon
Always lighting your way.
I am the weather
Constantly changing your mood
As well as the little voices in your head
Giving you good and bad advice.
I am your sister, your mom, your grandma, your friend
Teaching and playing and loving you to death.
Overall,
I am whatever you want me to be
But I choose to always be the one
That is always there for you.
