I Am Me, And Therfore I Am

Location

I AM the rishing ashes of a burning Phoenix, eager to shed the flaws and imperfections of my old skin in order to become stronger and braver than before.

I AM the love that formed the callouses on my mother's palms, mountains of hardened skin to portay her hardwork for her children.

I AM the face of Muslim-Americas, afraid yet unashamed to rectify the misconceptions displayed by the media of my faith and my idenity, defying ignorance through my actions of peace and intelligence.

I AM the face that my father left behind without a single glance, the skeleton in the back of his closet that he refuses to claim as his own.

I AM imperfections and my flaws; my mistakes and my downfalls.

I AM my success and accomplishments; my gains and my acheivements.

I AM the good and the bad.

I AM me.
