I Am Me.

I feel the eyes
staring, watching
I hear the voices
giggling, whispering
Their words lay on my shoulders
like tons of bricks trying to bring me down.

I won't let them,
For I am much stronger than any of them think.
They can throw their sticks and stones.
They can pile their bricks on my back.
I won't pay attention to a single one.

I am strong.
I am unique.
I can change the world.
I can change it with the words I speak
and the poems I write.
I am me.
And I am ready to conquer the world.
