Lazy because I used winter as an excuse not to go outside

Lazy because I didn’t bother to help Autumn when she was combing the leaves off the trees

Lazy because I kept all of Spring’s water in my body and fridge.

Human because if I didn't stay inside I wouldn't be able to keep warm

Human because on summer days I was able to travel to the friends I neglected

Human because I raked the leaves off the ground after they had fallen

Human because I needed that water to continue my daily life routine

But i'm still a lazy human
