I Am the Coward

the Brave know who they are

Confidant about their own inner desires, their

faults

weaknesses

their worth

Their skin fits Comfortably without question

but it is the Coward who wears the mask

Afraid

of what the world will say about their

ideas

dreams

feelings

Live in fear of judgement, for it is

Criticism

that haunts our thoughts, our worst enemy

failing to tell you that

It is never too late to

Recognize

who we truly are and strip away the curtain of our thoughts that

for so long was suffocating you in posionous

Doubt
