I Am Changed

As I look up in the sky,

So many things cross my mind.

Why do people have to lie?

And why are people so kind?

Why aren’t you in a ministry? They ask me.

My heart beats as fast as a horse gallops when its master commands.

I have always wanted to be in a ministry.

Sweat drips from my forehead and the palms of my hands.

After a few years I’ve got what I desire.

Alas I am in a ministry.

Now I am in choir.

God will provide everything with his grace and mercy.

Everyday I try my best to do what’s right.

I struggle to battle temptation and it stresses me out.

I pray to God to help me serve him with all my heart, strength and might.

I have attended in a public school all my life.

It is very difficult for me to be a light in a dark world everyday.

There are so many sorrows, despair and strife.

If I haven’t changed, my life would be a disaster in every way.

I am so glad because I am not who I used to be anymore.

It has been a great change because I’ve been born again.

I can’t wait for what God has in store.

I will shout and sing praises and say Amen.
