Afraid to raise my hand

Afraid to even try

I am smart, just not as smart as my classmates

I know i am smart, I just take a longer time comprehending

It is not my intention to make you angry when I raise my hand and simply ask if you may please repeat what you just said

Afraid of humiliation infront of all of my classmates

I have learned that, for you , the raise of my hand signifies a chance to give me sarcasm and unpleasant remarks
