God fearing woman but I'm not very religious

But to me it's not about religion but the relationship you  have with the spirit

Quick to anger and slow to calm down

Her name is unknown and shes's not from this town.

With no father in my life I've learned to see

That he truly wants nothing to do with me

It's made my heart as cold as ice

It's funny to think we've only met twice

This part of my life isn't all sugar and spice.

Selfish by nature, but giving by choice

Was once crushed inside, but now I have a voice

I'm thankful for the people I've lost along the way

And i wake up each morning knowing every days not a bad day

I'll continue to let my light shine

Because I know that I'll be alright.
