I am.

I am a dream.
I wonder what “to exist” entails.
I hear it’s wonderful “to exist” and
I want to exist, to BE, but still
I am worse than dead – INERT!

I pretend to know what
I feel is normal and what
I touch is unremarkable. But what
I worry about the most is if
I am a mar on the collective.

I understand that I am unremarkable.
I say this in all honesty. Sometimes, though,
I dream dreams so buzzingly beautiful, I’ll explode I think.
I try and keep it under lock and key and
I hope that no one’s noticed that
I am NOT the sum of my parts!
