I am...

I am

I am my own person I have my own mind I am myself

I wonder, wonder how people cannot do or think for themselves.

I hear, hear the taunting and judgment of the different.

I see, see the others acting just like one another taking the exact step the other one takes following in their footsteps.

I want, want life to see the way I see things.

I am my own person I have my own mind I am myself.

I pretend, pretend I do not see these actions taking place.

I feel, feel life can be reached by touching a simple star.

I touch; touch the heart of the different with my words.

I worry, worry about the lives of the different.

I cry, cry when I think about some of the different who took their life because of the taunting from the others.

I am my own person I have my own mind I am myself.

I understand, understand that times get hard and that times get tough.

I say, say that you should not listen to the others they all follow in the same step the other one takes be yourself show the others that it is okay to be different.

I dream, dream that the cruel world will worry about the different.

I try, try to help the different by telling them that they are their own person they have their own mind and they can be their selves.

I hope, hope that society will change for the better.

I am my own person I have my own mind I am myself.
