I Am

I am young

I am free

I am strong

I am me.

I am a survivor

I am waiting

I am a not a backeast dirver

I am debating.

I am a girl who followed simple rules

For the way life was "supposed" to be

I am a girl who found myself in words.

I am a girl who hated everything, but kept going

I am a girl who grew up in a crazy world,

And tried to keep her head on straight.

I am a girl in the process of becoming a woman,

I am looking all around for help and clues.

I am not lost

I am not what sterotypes make me out to be.

I am a girl who overcame life with her father

I am a girl who will not be stopped

I am a girl who overcame wanting to die

To live each and every single day with grace

I am not fragile, though life has been hard.

I am a warrior,

I can beat my demons

I am the murderer of my own slef doubt

I am the one who set me free.

I am the girl who will rise from the ashes,

Even more beautiful than a phenoix.

I am young

I am free

I am strong

I am me.
