I am driven

I am fearful

I am protective of what's inside

I've been through hell

Watched my Mother protect me

Watched her chose my future instead of fear

I've gained an angel

Through a loss so tearful

I've lived a life

hard with strife!

I am strong

I am smart

I am wise beyond my years

I have lived more life than those beyond my age

I am wise beyond what any could imagine

I am strong - I tell myself each morning,

I make jokes to find the strength

I reach deep 

beyond the pain

I find myself again…

I know life is at times beyond reach...

I intend on being able to teach

I am strong, I am wise, I am crazy deep down inside!
