I Am

I am who I have become

I am me because of the races I have won

I have fought many battles within

I am who I am because of them

I would not be who I am if not for God, who has allowed me to live, laugh, and love

I am shown favor from up above

I am unique

I have my own identity

Changes go by, but I am still me

I am as passionate as a red rose

I am the champion over my own shadows

I am a not so typical person

Of these things, I am certain

I am me because of the things I have done

At the end of the day, I am who I have become
