Hurricane

I would know her in darkness

In a storm

In a hurricane

I would know her blind

By her voice

Her laugh

Her encompassing aura

I would know my twin by the sound of her hand

Brushing through her hair

By the click of her pure white heels

On a tile floor

By the way she sighs

When she’s secretly glad you’re with her

I would know Jessica if the world was ending

Because there is nowhere else I would rather be

At that moment

Then by her side

I would stand by her in darkness

In a storm

In a hurricane

This poem is about:
Me
My family
