Hungering for

Matthew 5:6 New English Translation (NET Bible)

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.

Often we ask Christ for the Light, but life shines thro  good works

We pray to be enlightened but just keep  sitting wondering in  a pew

We sing our songs with emotion and hang on in heart and soul

While genuine praise to The Lord in Heaven lives in what we do

Recipients of The Love that flows from Christ through us to them

As such, they will thank and glorify our God with grateful hearts

So for us to shine in darkness is in the desire and hunger to die to self

Let the Fire of God’s Love perform Christ’s righteousness, then start
