Proverbs 29:23 

23 A person’s pride will bring him low,
but one who has a lowly spirit will gain honor.

Lowliness misunderstood ... not looking down on self.

It is not looking at self at all but living simple and true.

Humility embraces him ... whose attitude towards self

is that of knowing self best ... the weakness, flaws and moods.

Humility is not only God-ward ... but also towards man.

Engrained by Christ Himself ... Who was lowly and meek

a living example ... how we should be as a man.

No guile, no pride or hypocrisy ... just love and care, not weak.
