How many letters are in my heart?

I had always believed words to be real,

(you can see them, you can feel them, you can hear them)

but

one taste of you and they ceased to exist.

Words were imaginary, because I searched

this universe to find any combination of letters that could describe

every sparkle I found in your eyes,

suddenly

I couldn’t feel the words, I couldn’t see them or hear them,

instead I saw you

and I heard you

and I felt you

and all I could think was

you.
