How To Love

Gotta admit, you did a number on me

And I guess I should’ve seen it coming this time

But I’ve recalled how to live without you

So rest assured, I’m doing just fine

I wish hindsight came before foresight

‘Cause had I really known you, I would’ve rather been alone instead

So I hope you find the love you’re looking for tonight

Perhaps within the stranger you let in your bed

It must be hard being you

You gotta intoxicate your veins

Just so you can manage a smile

Meanwhile,

I’m getting drunk too

But not to forget you

And you start to roll up

Baby, you should grow up

Honey, you’ll drown in the tears I’ve wasted

‘Cause you can’t forget the lips you’ve tasted

So when you’ve had enough,

Maybe you’ll learn how to love
