How I'm not Flawless

Location

I am always late, I cannot keep a date
My posture isn’t exactly straight.
The rooms a mess, and sleeping is the best.
Music better loud, and my dancing doesn’t make most proud.
Dyslexic makes for bad spelling, is that why teachers are always yelling?
Too tall for a chick, haven’t really belong to a clique.
Hairs a mess and flannels with rock tees is the best.
At least one flawless thing is I really never lie.
Too write a poem about perfection would not show real self-expression.
See the thing is I have flaws.
Don’t get me wrong I don’t hate who I am, yet I’v expected.
My taste in music and the super distinct vocalization.
Here it is flaws are what make life worth it, they define who you are.
Sure people will like your gifts but people who love you will like your
mistakes and trips.
So why spend time talking about what I can do?
I find flaws more valuable, there the fun.
What kind of person cares about your perfect hair or straight teeth?
I like embarrassing moments, darkest fears, and deepest dreams.
So I guess the most flawless thing about me is my imperfection.
