How I Breathe
There are many scents I take in when I breathe,
But I can't live without the one left behind when you leave.
It's hard to describe the feelings I get.
I just know I'm brought back to the day that we met.
I'm haunted by this scent when my mind pictures you
And I remember the times when it was only us two.
Ever so often when I feel the scent has fled,
I take a breath in and it's back in my head.
This scent fills my lungs, it's the only air I need.
I let it consume me, that's just how I breathe.
