How to hear?
Matthew 11:29-30 29 Take my yoke on you and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and my load is not hard to carry.” How to hear?
Burdens of the spirit ... are they God’s call to us?
Aren’t we sealed in one-ness with God and not a guest?
God says that He speaks clearly but we can’t comprehend it.
We know the problem is not He ... but in our human-ness.
To manifest His Will in me ... how does He go about it?
He speaks with a still small voice but I just drown that out.
I don’t even know He is speaking ... for I am always occupied
with what I deem important and it seems to please the crowd.
So when I receive a burden ... am I supposed to reason?
Should I try to figure out ... and see what God wants?
If it appears good to do it and it is listed in the scriptures
should I go ahead with it and let God have “His” want.
What if a spirit is weighed down ... it can’t be from the Savior.
It must be Satan’s attempt to crush my will and in such to oppress.
In such he will deny me prayer ... in need to change my behavior
and keeps me feeling hopeless ... as if I not Christ to possess.
God’s concern motivates ... prayer and meditation.
He loves to reason ... and explain everything.
The things that I don’t understand that brings me to frustration
He will cover that with faith ... as He brings me peace within.
The freedom of prayer ... will never be lost
for God so loves ... to communicate with us.
But prayer is foremost listening and not our speaking
for that is God’s way ... in relationship with us.
A spirit-filled with concerns ... loses the sharpness of intuition.
These senses are dulled ... by the weights so imposed.
The victory is ours ... to fulfill its fruition
if God’s ways are accepted ... to shed evil’s overdose.
