How to be Flawless

Don't look at the magazines

we've learned their words only

tear down what we

build up

though we try again

and again

we look in the mirror and see

a pair of imperfect eyes

looking out

but the smile is real

they can never tell us how not

to feel

never keep us from being what

we are

again and again

don't look at the magazines

we are perfect

flawless

you and me
